Cineac Reguliersbreestraat

The name Cineac is derived from "cinema" and "actualité". In the cinema, "het Handelsblad" showed short continuous newsreels. Visitors could enter or leave the cinema at any time. The building was designed by architect J. Duiker. It was built in the style of the "Nieuwe Zakelijkheid" or the "Nieuwe Bouwen" and made of glass and steel.
